About Marie Joubert
I arrived in New Zealand in January 2013 from a town in South Africa called Pietermartizburg that has a population of 1.1 million people. I came here to be with my husband Andre who had been here for 3 years.
I decided to join the real estate industry because it fitted in with my 24 years’ experience in sales which include insurance, chemicals as well as a successful career in the real estate industry in South Africa.
I love cycling and hiking with my husband and family; shopping is something that I am very experienced in, and I just love socializing whenever I can. I joined the local community, and my new found skill is netball umpiring which my daughter works hard at to represent Amesbury School.
I am very definite about how I want people to be treated. “I will treat people exactly as I want to be treated because honesty, transparency, respect, love and care are all very important to me.”
I have a bubbly energetic personality and I am fast becoming familiar within the Northern Suburbs where I live, work and play.
Since I started in real estate I have already achieved recognition for my performance in the following achievements:
- Chairman's Award for being one of First National's outstanding performers in the Real Estate Marketplace for the month of August 2013
- Chairman's Award for being one of First National's outstanding performers in the Real Estate Marketplace for the month of October 2013
